As of this time, Sabine River Authority of Texas does not restrict the use of metal detecting devices by hobbyist on SRA "public use" areas. It is not my intent in the near future to address a metal detection policy. Should issues arise warranting such a policy, action could be taken at that time. Thank you for your interest in our properties and we hope you enjoy your visits to our recreation areas.
